Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 February 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Liam Hooper ("we", "us", "our"), operating at liamhooper.co.uk, collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our services. We are committed to complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who We Are
Data controller: Liam Hooper
Website: https://liamhooper.co.uk
Contact email: privacy@liamhooper.co.uk
2. What Our Service Does
Our platform allows users to connect their Meta (Facebook) advertising accounts in order to retrieve, analyse, and report on ad performance data. This includes pulling campaign metrics, audience insights, and ad spend data from the Meta Marketing API and presenting it in a reporting dashboard.
3. Data We Collect
Account and profile data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you provide.
Meta / Facebook data: When you connect your Meta account, we request access to your public profile (name and profile picture) solely to authenticate your identity and link your account. We also request access to your Meta advertising data, including ad account IDs, campaign names, ad performance metrics, and spend figures. This data is accessed via the Meta Marketing API and stored securely in our database.
Usage data: We collect information about how you use our service, such as pages visited, features used, and session duration, along with technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and device information.
Communications: If you contact us for support, we retain the content of those communications.
Payment data: If you are a paying customer, payment information is processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card details.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve our service, including retrieving and displaying your Meta advertising data in our reporting dashboard; to manage your account and authenticate you; to send service-related communications such as invoices and account notices; to analyse usage patterns in order to improve the platform; to detect and prevent fraud and misuse; and to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your Meta data to serve you advertisements and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Meta / Facebook Integration
Our service integrates with the Meta Marketing API. By connecting your Meta account you authorise us to access your Meta advertising data on your behalf. We request only the permissions necessary to provide the service. You can revoke our access to your Meta account at any time via your Facebook account settings at facebook.com/settings. Revoking access will prevent us from retrieving new data but will not automatically delete data already stored.
Our use of data received from Meta APIs complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies.
6. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)
We process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the service you have signed up for); legitimate interests (to improve and secure our service); your consent (where you have explicitly opted in to marketing communications); and compliance with a legal obligation where applicable.
7. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Data is stored within the European Economic Area (EEA) or in jurisdictions that provide an adequate level of data protection.
While we take security seriously, no system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us immediately at privacy@liamhooper.co.uk if you believe your data has been compromised.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes. Support communications are retained for up to 6 months after account deletion.
9. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our platform: Meta (Facebook) for advertising data access via the Marketing API; Supabase for secure data storage; and a payment processor for handling subscriptions. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data handling practices.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
10. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to maintain your session and to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of our service.
11. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data in certain circumstances; object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@liamhooper.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
12. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
